- DemeTech Polydioxanone suture is a synthetic, absorbable, sterile, surgical suture composed of the polyester (p-dioxanone).
- Clinical trials have shown that 75 - 80% of the initial tensile strength remained after 2weeks, after 4weeks 65 – 70% of the initial tensile strength remained and55 – 60% of the initial tensile strength remained after 6weeks. Absorption profile is 180 – 210 days.
