DemeTech PGR suture is a synthetic, absorbable, sterile, surgical suture composed of copolymers made from 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. DemeTech PGR is able to achieve a faster absorption period more than any other synthetic absorbable due to the lower molecular weight relative to Polyglactin 910.
Clinical trials have shown that 75% of the initial tensile remained after 2weeks and post implantation approximately 0% of the linear tensile strength remained after 4weeks.
